Packing and sizing
Our standard packing is the single-use plastic crate; cartons are also produced on request. The crates are single-use, so there is no return, no deposit and no back-haul cost for you.
Sizing is done by calibre (weight per fruit in grams), and we set the calibre to the destination market and to the specification the buyer sends us.
Every crate and carton ships with the Zaghmarz Fruit label.
Refrigerated transport is arranged by us or by the buyer, depending on what we agree.
Documents and process
Every consignment is given a tracking code, printed on the carton and shown on the invoice. The format combines the orchard code, the harvest date and the shipment number — so any load can be traced back to the specific orchard and the day it was picked.
